Indian Motorcycle Made Tattoo Ink from Burnout Ash
Want to really prove that riding is in your blood? Indian Motorcycle made tattoo ink with burnout ash from legendary racer Carey Hart’s Indian Super Hooligan. Indian teamed up with Hart’s longtime friend and co-founder of Nocturnal Ink, Franco Vescovi, to use the carbon from the burnout ash produced by Hart’s bike to make an ink pigment that could safely be used as for tattooing. Hart himself went under the needle first with this particular ink to welcome his son Jameson into the world with a fresh tattoo on his neck. If you’re interested in your next work of body art including carbon from an Indian motorcycle, the limited edition ink is currently being used by shops Hart & Huntington (Las Vegas) and Vatican Studios (Lake Forest, California) for some of their work.
