This KZ650 Resto-Mod is One of a Kind
When the folks at Paal Motorcycles were tasked with doing a resto-mod to a dilapidated 1978 Kawasaki KZ650, they managed to create one worth fawning over. Built for a client, this bike actually started out as a barn find that had been in disrepair for over 20 years. That kind of neglect comes at a high price, as the team had to completely disassemble the bike and do a rebuild from the ground-up. That included sandblasting it and applying a new paint job; refitting it with new gaskets, seals, and bearings; building a custom one-off snub-nosed exhaust; and handcrafting the tank and seat (including the leather pleating). The legends at Paal Motorcycles really performed a miracle breathing new life into this once-forgotten bike.
