Palm Springs Desert House
Palm Spring is synonymous with classic mid-century designs. Although this house was built in the present, the Desert House still exudes the best of the mid-century style. The home is surrounded by an eight-foot concrete wall. Within these borders is a private courtyard with a lap pool. While the interior is minimal, this protected space creates an indoor/outdoor living experience that nearly triples the internal square footage. Large expanses of glazing between the steel frames draw in the views of the surrounding mountains while seamlessly connecting the inside to the exterior patio. Awash in white, the clean lines and minimalist offerings of the modern structure pop against the stark desert landscape.
